This weekend is the H.E.L.L. compilation release show! Please come out and be there on time! There are a bunch of bands playing so we have to start the show on time and you don’t want to miss the openers. You’ll be able to get the H.E.L.L. compilation on vinyl (including a record release version on black limited to 54 copies). There are two shirt designs that are a collaboration between H.E.L.L. and Art Terror, and screenprinted posters. Also, there’s a really awesome raffle with a bunch of sponsors.

If you haven’t heard it yet, you can stream the H.E.L.L. compilation at http://onehellofacompilation.bandcamp.com. You can also purchase the 2xLP version through http://getstoked.storenvy.com or you can get the 2xLP and a limited shirt design through MerchNOW at http://new.merchnow.com/catalogs/hell. No matter where you get it, all the proceeds are going directly to help H.E.L.L. buy more bike helmets and put together more bike safety programs and outreach.

If you pre-ordered the cassette version of the H.E.L.L. comp through Antique Records, they are still coming! There was a slightly delay on the production side of things and we’ll update you here once they’re available. There will also be some cassettes available through Get Stoked! once the order comes in.

I’ll be there. You?

clear your calendars.

Derek’s top 5 of 2010 for siq shit

I just love this list. MMOSS is fantastic AND features another Candia kid, Ms. Cruel Heaven herself. Really ridiculously-crafted songs that wrap you up. Also, The First Annual?? They’re a great live band—I caught them in ‘05 with Alcoa & Rocky Votolato. Local kids and local rifs—and harmonicas, people.

Lastly, Justin Townes Earle is the live act you NEED to see. He opened for Dan Auerbach in the fall of ‘09 and Ricker and I were so enamored with him—solid lyrics, a strong, assertive voice and that twang that is usually so hit-or-miss in general; JTE nails it.

Not that anyone asked for my opinion, ha.
